Appeals and Complaints
Authors have the right to appeal editorial decisions or reviewer comments during the editorial process. Appeals should be submitted to the editorial office. Editors will review appeals carefully, considering additional factual information, revisions, supplementary materials, or concerns about conflicts of interest and potential bias in peer review. Editors serve as mediators between authors and reviewers throughout the peer-review process and may consult additional reviewers if needed to reach a final decision. The editor’s decision after an appeal is final, and an author’s protest alone will not influence the outcome. Commitment to Transparency and Excellence Hyperlink to be create redirection
